Thank you to everyone who attended our first group gathering yesterday. The 2020 calendar is now live on our blog home page (see under the left-hand heading: Pages). Our next group gathering will be on Saturday 8th Feb (10am – onwards).
Please set aside some additional time on this date as there is a lot planned. Firstly, Ute will run us through how to develop new ideas for artworks and how to develop your own unique style. Betty had kindly volunteered to run participants through the process of developing their own artist statement. Finally, we will attend a behind-the-scenes excursion to the Toowoomba Regional Art Gallery to view some of the larger prints in their collection. Plenty of inspiration to be had and a good starting point for beginning to work on our own large works for our 10-year-Anniversary Exhibition: ‘X’
