The Saturday Printmakers recently gathered together on the 12th August 2023. Members worked on their own projects including preparing for the end of year print swap. We also welcomed two new faces to the printmaking group who are keen to develop their skills and explore this diverse medium.
Two of our members, Colleen and Robyn, are also participating in the Crows Nest Art Trail. Please go along and support them! They both make stunning work 🙂 Further information can be found here:
We have also recently acquired a number of donated materials and books from Alexandra M, Nikki B and Jess H. We wish to express our thanks and gratitude for these resources which help to foster the groups’ continued growth and development. The majority of these will be accessible to our members, and the acquired vinyl will be used to support new members unfamiliar with printmaking to learn the basics of relief printing. Special thanks also go to Cecily and Sue who kindly donated much needed rags to the group in recent months!
