Xpress Die-Cut Machine (aka Printing Press)

Hi Everyone,

Out our last meeting, a couple members brought in and discussed their most recent purchase of an Xpress Die-Cut Machine for use in producing prints suitable for both relief and intaglio printing methods. The press is A4 in size and only requires an additional sheet of craft felt for use, similar to a press blanket though much thinner. These can be found at some Newsagents or alternatively Lincraft or Spotlight.

This was recently brought to the attention of the group by Victorian Printmaker Annie Day who ran last year’s Waterless Lithography Workshop.

We recommend members consider all options and conduct their own research before purchasing any product. As a group we do not publicly endorse any product over another. Though we will share information, where given, regarding possible cost-effective tools and/or methods for members to investigate further.

  1. I tried to track one down in Australia but could find nowhere that had any stock. A place in the UK had supplies so I sent there . It was $25 for delivery and was here in five days.
